What a great summer we’ve been having here in New Hampshire at the Colby Hill lnn! We kicked off the season by naming our acclaimed restaurant: Bartlett’s, after the original owner of the property, Lieutenant Samuel Bartlett who built the building in 1797 and opened it as Bartlett’s Tavern in 1820. So we went back to our roots a little bit.
We added new signage, new menus (including some great casual items), redecorated our dining rooms, new server uniforms and built a pretty cool wine storage system in the garden room. Oh, did we forget to mention our awesome new Signature drink? Bartlett’s Passion is a refreshing Pear Cocktail that includes pear nectar, pear vodka and Elderflower. It’s delicious! Check out our new menu here.
We even hosted a great evening grand opening with our customers, Chamber of Commerce members, members of the local press and many others so they could taste our menu items and new signature drink. It was a great success and several articles were written about Bartlett’s Restaurant at the Inn.
Don’t forget to check out our patio and fire pit while you’re visiting the inn. You can even have drinks/dinner or breakfast on the patio if you like. Just let us know you want to sit out there. Our gardens are in full bloom and you’ll have a great view from the patio.
Our pool is open for a refreshing dip just around the corner from our lower parking lot. So be sure to bring your bathing suit when visiting us for lodging. We supply the pool towels!
We hope you’re enjoying your summer wherever your adventures have taken you. We hope to see you soon whether you’re attending a nearby wedding, planning a romantic getaway or want to do some hiking, biking or exploring here in beautiful New Hampshire! Check out our special packages that include some great activities including canoeing or kayaking or visiting the Canterbury Shaker Village or the Fells.
